A beef sirloin tip roast, also called a round tip roast, is cut from the hindquarters of the cow. It is a tougher cut of beef that becomes mouthwateringly tender when roasted slowly at lower temperatures.
We cooked it in the slow cooker. It came out tender and very flavorful with minimal seasonings.

Sirloin Tip Roast
I was not sure what to expect with this roast I had not made one before. It was absolutely delicious! I browned it in my enameled cast iron pot and then added beef broth and cooked in the oven at 260 for 3 1/2 hrs. It was so tender.
